Biographie
A writing fiend, Melanthios is currently occupied with an enchiridion, National Novel-Writing Month, and any number of pastiches. In the interim he is re-reading a childhood obsession, and following two mystery series: one by Mark Gatiss, about a Lucifer Box; and one by Gyles Brandreth, about Oscar. Besides writing, Melanthios is also a rather goodish at drawing and sewing. He enjoys, but is no great shakes at, pottery, spinning, and dyeing. Various people have said he is skilled at singing, but his skills have grown rusty from lack of instruction.
With a talent for conversation, Melanthios continues on the path of Slytherin, and staunchly admires the talents of cunning, small circles of loyal friends, and ambition. He enjoys writing yellow-backed novels, eating frozen custard with peaches, and getting into deep discussions about fictional characters and socio-political systems. He has no cats.
